Stronger Connections held its monthly food pantry distribution today serving over 100+ families. Special thanks to our amazing volunteers , DHS Honor Society Members Raegan Furnace & Maddie Proctor, DHS Students Yolanda Ramirez , Jacob Garcia & Daniah Chavera, Parent Volunteer Valerie Torres, and Staff Volunteer Superintendent Kelli DuBose. We appreciate the communities support in helping make this a successful food drive.

Food Pantry will start at 11:30 a.m today!! Our food truck delivery came early so we will be able to start distributing food sooner today. Please let us know if you are unable to make it but would like food. Remember you automatically qualify if you have a student in the district.

Stronger Connections is excited to invite your agency to participate in our Career Fair (See flyer for details). Our student population of approximately 256 students, ranging from grades 9-12, will be attending the event, eager to learn more about potential career paths, industries, and educational opportunities available to them after graduation. We believe that your organization’s presence would be invaluable to our students, helping them understand the skills, qualifications, and steps necessary to succeed in your field. Whether you are able to provide an informational booth, host an interactive session, or simply share your professional experience, we know it will make a meaningful impact on our students as they explore their future careers. 🏀🐺 DILLEY BASKETBALL PARENT/ATHLETE MEETING 🐺🏀 REMINDER, There will be a Basketball Parent/Athlete meeting TODAY @ 5:30pm in the DHS Cafeteria. This meeting will be for any athletes and parents of athletes that are interesting in playing basketball for the 2024-25 school year. Here powerful stories from Christian Athletes our very own Raegan Furnace and Jonathan Osio. Cotulla's Bella Linares will be sharing motivational words as well as Pearsall's Riley Carizales. Early Voting for the DISD Board of Trustee Election begins October 21st through November 1st. Location will take place at the Administration Building, 245 W FM 117 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Wednesdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
