***WOLVES POWERLIFTING CLAIM SILVER***

On Wednesday January 28, Our Wolves Powerlifters competed at the Cotulla Cowboy invitational. Boys as a team placed 2nd , bringing hardware and several accomplishments. Senior Miguel was named the best heavyweight lifter of the meet!

123 lb division - Zaydrian Sauceda (6th Place)

148 lb division - Juan Rodriguez (5th Place)

165 lb division - Andre Lozano (3rd Place)

181 lb division - Clause Castaneda (4th Place)

198 lb division - Kaleb Nickles (1st Place); Robert Ardon (5th Place)

275 lb division - Miguel Suarez ( 1st Place; Best Heavy Weight Lifter)
Jordan Espinoza (2nd Place)

308 lb division - Jonathan Eguia (1st Place)

Great job to our Wolves. Our girls Powerlifters will be competing in Dilley High School on Wednesday February 4, followed by our boys on Wednesday February 11!

Dilley ISD thanks Mrs. Melody Carroll for completing her first year of service on the Board of Trustees. A retired Dilley ISD administrator, Mrs. Carroll is actively involved at St. Joseph’s Church as a Christian Initiation teacher and serves as a CASA volunteer for Frio County. Dilley ISD thanks Mr. Rene Alvarez, Board Member, for his 16 years of dedicated service on the Board of Trustees. Mr. Alvarez is retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Dilley Police Department, and currently serves as a Pipeline Operator for Ironwood Midstream.
