Dilley Elementary wrapped up an amazing Hello Week! 🎉 Staff and students participated throughout the week, spreading kindness and inclusion across campus. Hello Week is a national initiative that encourages students to create a culture of connection and belonging. This year’s Hello Week took place September 15–19, 2025. A big thank you to the MHMS Cheerleaders for visiting our elementary students and to the DHS Football players for joining in the fun! 🏈💚

DES Counselor and DHS Varsity Volleyball Team Promote Start with Hello Week

Today, the DES Counselor partnered with the DHS Varsity Volleyball Team to continue Start with Hello Week! Volleyball athletes greeted elementary students with warm smiles and high-fives as they arrived on campus.

Start with Hello Week is a national initiative designed to promote kindness, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for all students. This year, Start with Hello Week runs September 15-19, 2025.

⚠️🏀🐺 DILLEY BOYS BASKETBALL FUNDRAISER 🐺🏀⚠️ The Dilley Boys Basketball Program is excited to announce that we will be hosting a 3v3 Basketball Tournament as a fundraising event! This tournament is open to participants of all ages, skill levels, and to all surrounding communities. Dilley Elementary Kicks Off “Start with Hello” Week!
This morning, our Elementary Student Council members gave a warm welcome to students as they arrived on campus, spreading smiles and positive vibes to kick off Start with Hello week!

Start with Hello Week is a national initiative that teaches students the importance of kindness, connection, and inclusion by reaching out to others and making everyone feel welcome. A simple “hello” can make a big difference!

🐺🏃🏽‍♂️ DILLEY XC RESULTS @ CORPUS CHRISTI ISLANDER SPLASH 🏃🏽‍♀️🐺 The Dilley XC HS Teams traveled to Corpus Christi TX this morning and competed at the 2025 Islander Splash XC invitational (Regional XC site). The Varsity Boys team was led by Junior Josiah Benavides who fielded an impressive 20th place finish (medalist) out of 344 runners in the VB Med/Small school division. The Varsity Girls team was led by Freshman Harvest Viesca who finished 61st out of 399 runners in the VG Med/small school division! All of our runners competed very well on a grueling corpus course which was a little longer than a 2 mile/5k due to remapping of the course because of rainfall. Our Varsity Teams will be in action next Friday, September 19th at the 2025 HOKA McNeil XC Invitational @ Round Rock TX (state XC meet site) while our JV and MS runners will compete @ Falls City on Saturday September 20th!
