Yesterday on September 17th the Lady Wolves played their second district game with The Natalia Lady Mustangs. The girls came out strong with going into five games and ultimately winning the 5th set 15-12. After losing the 1st set the girls came back for the 2nd game-winning 25-15. Starting line up #6 Janel Aguliar, #13 Jaden Aranda, #5 Mia Valenzuela, #10 Liz Guite, #8 Lanie Dubose, and #4 Danika Aranda who trades in with our Senior Libero #23 Destiney Tijerina really held their own. With the help on some defense from the sophomore #2 Blanca Muniz. From Blocks, Hits and some awesome defense the girls finished on top. Ending the night 2-0 in district. Girls are ready for Friday's BIG game against Lytle.
Our JV A girls went into 3 games ending the night short for their first district game. The JV A girls played with heart and pride. As for our JV B teams the girls are 1-0 for their first district game.

Dilley FFA will be having their first meeting next Monday, September 16th at 6:30 PM in the DHS Cafeteria. JR FFA: Please make arrangements to attend this meeting. Ms. Silva will begin collecting dues for JR FFA members. Dues will be $5. We will also be signing up for animal and country store projects during this time. We hope to see you there!

Pep Rally for today, 9/13/2019, is scheduled to be at 2:25 p.m. in the HS Gym. Theme for pep rally this week is a country/round up the Cowboys (camo/boots/something western).
All HS students interested in joining the BBQ competition, a required team meeting will be held on Monday September 16 during Activity Period in Ms. Silva’s classroom in the CTE building. The first competition is in November.
