Clear/Mesh Backpack FAQ
1. Will small pouches/bags be allowed in the student’s clear/mesh backpack?
Small pouches/bags will be allowed for feminine products.
2. Will students be allowed to carry a lunchbox/lunchbag?
Yes, students will be allowed to carry a lunchbox/lunchbag. (Does not have to be clear)
3. Will there be assistance to help families obtain a clear/mesh backpack?
Yes, families will need to contact the campus to be put on a list.
4. Do faculty/staff need to have a clear/mesh backpack?
No, faculty/staff will not need to have a clear/mesh backpack.
5. Is the school going to provide refunds to families who have purchased
backpack/book bags for the 2022-2023 school year.
Dilley ISD will not be providing monetary compensation for backpacks previously purchased.
6. Who do I contact if my family is facing hardship and needs assistance with fulfilling this requirement?
Contact your student’s campus and speak to your campus administrator.
7. Can the school please provide pictures of acceptable backpacks?

We apologize for the late notice and thank you for your understanding. The District has decided that for the 2022-23 school year only clear or see-through mesh backpacks will be allowed.

Camp Registration starts at 11:15a-12:15p in front of DHS building.
Camp for all Skills starts @12:30p-2:30p $55 per camper
Individual sessions 2:45 pm-4:00 pm each session is $25

A small group of individuals who work at Dilley ISD decided to host a donation drive for the community of Uvalde. We know this community is in mourning and there are so many affected by this tragedy.

All Lady Wolves from 7th-12th grade that will be in athletics
The girls traveled to Natalia May 26, for their final play in bracket tournament. The girls ended in 1st place out of 6 teams! They played a month long of spring league every Tuesday and Thursday. The girls are ready for the season!
We will start our strength and conditioning summer training on Monday May 30th. 8:15 @ DHS weight room. If the girls can please wear white/maroon in honor of the families from Uvalde all week.
Graduation Protocols:
* Highly recommend no bags tonight for safety and comfort purposes. A small handbag/purse is acceptable.
* Streamers, poppers, and noisemakers are acceptable - hand held or carried in your hands, not in bags.
* Public entrance is at the main entrance or concession stand area
* Parent/guardian track entrance is at the east side or scoreboard side of the stadium.
Graduation 2022 - May 27th, 2022, 8 pm at Goesch Field. General public attendance is welcomed and there are no seating restrictions for stand seating. Thank you.
Alyssa Sambrano is the recipient of the SWTJC Scholarship in the amount of $1300.00/year
