This past Saturday (1/14/23) ten Mighty Grey Wolf Junior High Band students competed against 491 students across our region at the 2023 JH Region Band tryouts. We are pleased to announce six students earned a chair in the 2023 JH All-Region Band.
8th grade Bass Clarinet, Enevaeh Martinez, earned a spot in the All-Region Symphonic Band. 8th grade Trumpets players, Nehemiah Osio and Edelyn Rodriguez earned 2 spots out of 81 in the All Region Concert Band. 7th graders, Carly Tijerina and Abel Vasquez both earned a spot out of 25 in the All-Region Concert Band. Lastly, 6th grader John Barret Collier earned a spot in the All-Region Concert Band.
These students will represent Dilley ISD and perform February 25th at 5pm at Carrizo Springs High School Auditorium. The concert is open to the public and is free of charge.
We truly have some talented Junior High Band Students here at Dilley ISD!
