We will be selling t-shirts to raise money for the American Cancer
Society. We are selling these shirts for our PINK OUT that we will be
having at the October 8th football game against La Pryor. The goal of
the PINK OUT is to raise awareness of breast cancer since October is
Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All money raised goes to the
American Cancer Society to help Frio County. We want everyone to
wear their shirt to school and to the football game that night. The
t-shirts cost $15 for youth sizes and $20 for adult sizes. The deadline for
ordering shirts is on Monday, September 20th by 4:00 p.m. All orders
and payment will be taken online through the Square App at
https://melody-carroll.square.site/
The more shirts we sell, the more
money we can donate! The shirts will be heliconia pink. Thank you for
helping us fight cancer and supporting our Dilley Wolves, too!
The price increase this year is due to the increase in cost of shirts
through Gandy Ink.

On Saturday 8/28/21 the Dilley Cross Country team competed at the Medina Valley invitational. In the Varsity Girls division Chloe Rodriguez placed 24th out of 141 runners with a personal best time. In the Varsity Boys division, Anthony Guerra led the way for the Wolves securing a 10th place finish, Edgardo Ramos placed 25th, Abraham Rodriguez placed 104th, and there was a total of 140 runners. In the JV Boys division, Julian Cruz led the wolves and placed 120th, Amos Osio placed 172nd and there was 209 boys in this division. Definitely one of the biggest meets we have ever been to, our runners went out and competed well! We will host our Dilley Wolfpack Invitational this Saturday! Be there! Go Wolves!

On Saturday 8/28/21 the Dilley Pups Cross Country team competed at the Medina Valley invitational. In the 8th grade boys Division Eleazar Aguilar led the Pups and secured an 8th place finish, Brazos Viesca captured 15th place, and Jacob Garcia finished in 40th, Harlen Elizondo finished 41st, and there was a total of 56 runners. In the 8th grade girls division Alyssa Morales led the Lady Pups and placed 17th, Jewlea Tate placed 24th, and Aundrea Rodriguez finished 54th. In the 7th grade boys division Javon Arriazola paced the Pups and captured a 7th place finish, Josiah Benavides placed 37th, Ace Valdez placed 58th, and there was a total of 65 runners. Good job Pups! This was a big meet with many bigger schools and more competition. We will host our Dilley Wolfpack Invitational this Saturday! Be there! Go Wolves!
