On Friday April 11 our athletes competed at the Jourdanton JH District Meet.
Although it was a short season, we're proud of the progress all of our students have made in such a short amount of time. MHMS also brought home several medals!

***NATIONAL SIGNING DAY***
Dilley High School students participated in National Signing Day at Southwest Texas College today. They successfully completed the Dual Credit Welding Program at Dilley High School under the guidance of their instructor, Mr. Cesar San Miguel.
These students have now committed to continuing their welding education by enrolling in next year’s Advanced Welding Level 1 Certification Program. Career-ready Wolves! Go Wolves!

Congratulations to our Dilley Boys 4x400 Relay team as they punched their ticket to the 2025 Region IV 3A Track & Field Championships! The boys placed 4th! Team consists of Jacob Lopez Jr, Julian Cruz, Isaiah Lambert, and Matthew Montoya! ⚡️

****LADY WOLVES DISTRICT TRACK & FIELD RESULTS****
Our girls competed in the district track meet the past two days. The Varsity team was led by Dakota San Miguel and Alyssa Perez. Dakota was the district champion in the Shot Put (37-5.5) and Discus (114-6). Alyssa was the district runner up in the Long Jump (15-8.5) and Triple Jump (33-1.5). She also qualified in the 100m dash and 200m dash with 3rd place finishes. They will be competing next Wednesday at the Area Meet in Seguin.
The JV girls team finished in 3rd place at the meet. They were led by Jaelyn Rodriguez, Maddie Proctor, and Aundrea Rodriguez. Jaelyn was the district champ in the 100m Hurdles and High Jump. Maddie brought home a 2nd place finish in the 100m dash. Aundrea was 2nd place in the Shot Put.

Congratulations to senior Jacob Lopez on taking the crown as District Champion in the 400 meter dash with a blazing time of 51.4
He will be heading to the Area Track & Field Championships on Wednesday April 9 in Seguin, TX.

****4x100m Relay Record Broken****
Congratulations to our Wolves Sprint Relay as they not only claimed the District Championship, but broken a 30 year old school record !
4x100 relay team consists of Armando Gauna, Matthew Montoya, Isaiah Lambert, and Jacob Lopez.
Previous school record was set in 1996 by Adrian Santos, Juan Rodriguez, Nandy Rodriguez, and Jeremiah Neves with a time of of 44.08.
A new record was set with a blazing time of 43. 41!!!!
