The DHS National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive on Oct. 9, 2019 in the high school cafeteria, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If you would like to help save lives by donating blood, please contact Raellen Mattingly by email, raellen.mattingly@dilleyisd.net, to schedule your donation time. Yesterday on September 17th the Lady Wolves played their second district game with The Natalia Lady Mustangs. The girls came out strong with going into five games and ultimately winning the 5th set 15-12. After losing the 1st set the girls came back for the 2nd game-winning 25-15. Starting line up #6 Janel Aguliar, #13 Jaden Aranda, #5 Mia Valenzuela, #10 Liz Guite, #8 Lanie Dubose, and #4 Danika Aranda who trades in with our Senior Libero #23 Destiney Tijerina really held their own. With the help on some defense from the sophomore #2 Blanca Muniz. From Blocks, Hits and some awesome defense the girls finished on top. Ending the night 2-0 in district. Girls are ready for Friday's BIG game against Lytle.
Our JV A girls went into 3 games ending the night short for their first district game. The JV A girls played with heart and pride. As for our JV B teams the girls are 1-0 for their first district game.
