****GETTING READY FOR THE CELEBRATION***** DHS is getting ready for the festivities in Mrs. Guzman's Arts & Crafts during the DHS Summer Academy sponsored by the DISD ACE Program. They are preparing pinatas using paper mache and creating very colorful pieces!!! Great Job DISD!!! We Back the Pack!!!

***DHS IS ON THE BLOCK*** DHS had to LEGO all the excitement during the DHS Summer Academy (hosted by the DISD ACE Program) with Mr. Zertuche's Lego Coding Class. Students build custom structures and program them to perform functions using coding software from their Chromebooks. The possibilities are endless here at DHS! We Back the Pack!!!

****DHS LEATHER WORK*** DHS students have been crafting leather roses in Dr. Ziegler's leather work class offered during the DHS Summer Academy hosted by the DISD ACE Program. When it comes to excitement, DHS has nothing to "HIDE" We Back the Pack!!!

****SUMMER ACADEMY IS KICKIN' IN**** Students are given a chance to get physical through the self-defense classes that are offered to student at DHS's summer academy host by the DISD ACE Program. 24-25 Substitute Teacher Training This training is for new and returning Substitutes! Reminder to all returning Substitutes, you must attend 1 of the 2 offered this summer in order to continue to substitute teach for the 24-25 School Year. Hope to see you there!!

Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians If your child is attending Summer School starting this Monday and is in need of transportation. Dilley ISD will be running the in town route with four designated stops. See map attached for stops. The route will begin at 7am so that the students have enough time for breakfast at school. If you have any questions please contact Ernestina Rodriguez our Transportation Coordinator at 830-965-3008.

****2024 DHS GRADUATION CEREMONY DETAILS**** Join us this Friday@ Gosch Field for our 2024 Graduation Ceremony Graduates need to report to field @ 7pm *Spectator Expectations* We are asking that all families that will be sitting on the track or football field to REFRAIN FROM WEARING HEELS. Spectators that will be attending and sitting in the bleachers are to remain outside of the fenced area before, during, and after ceremony. ***Spectators will not be allowed to step onto track or football field for THE ENTIRE NIGHT. BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER CEREMONY unless they were invited to attend within reserved seating prior to ceremony*** Photos will be taken and shared by Dilley ISD If you have any questions, please contact Principal Tribett by calling the DHS Front Office.
