Viesca Sisters Medal at Medina Valley! Great day for Dilley XC at the Medina Valley Invitational! Our athletes battled through a humid morning and a difficult course, and still competed hard from start to finish. Varsity Boys: Owen Surles paced the group, followed by Ram Ochoa, Ethan Hernandez, Zaydrian Sauceda, and Shawn Rodriguez. The boys fought through a tough course and continued to gain valuable race experience. Varsity Girls: Harvest Viesca led the way with a 13th place finish, earning a medal in a strong varsity field. Danica Hernandez, Jaelyn Rodriguez, and Larayna Sauceda also competed well despite the difficult conditions. JV Boys: Juan Rodriguez paced the JV boys, followed by Guadalupe Rodriguez and Hector Acosta. All three continued to show toughness and growth. JV Girls: Janae Garcia led the JV girls, with Aubrey Garcia also putting together a solid race. For the MHMS Pups, this was their first race of the season, and they gave us a lot to be excited about moving forward. 8th Grade Girls: Jenyka Galindo paced the group, followed by Llyana Navarro, Zaverie Medina, and Layla Ruiz. A solid first race of the year for this group on a tough course. 8th Grade Boys (not pictured): Julien Aguilar led the way, followed by Angel Trevino, Sebastian Sambrano, and Jake Davalos. Another strong first outing for the Pups. 7th Grade Girls: River Viesca had a huge first race, finishing 1st place overall in the combined 7th and 8th grade girls race! Kaitlyn Lopez, Jaelyn Hernandez, Ariana Yanez, and Gabriella Osio also competed well in their first meet of the season. Proud of the way our Wolves and MHMS Pups competed today. It was a tough, humid morning, but they stayed after it and represented Dilley well!!

Congratulations to the Lady Wolves on an awesome performance at the Freer Volleyball Tournament. Lady Wolves finished with 2-2 record with victories over San Isidro and Laredo Harmony and losses to Freer and St Augustine. Freshmen Faith & Hope Arriazola received All Tournament Awards highlighting their performances during the tournament. Awesome job ladies! It's a great day to be a Lady Wolf!

The Dilley Wolves Cross Country team turned in a great day of racing Saturday at the Karnes City Invitational! Harvest Viesca paced the Varsity Lady Wolves, racing her way to a Top 10 finish and a medal, while Ram Ochoa led the Varsity Boys with a medal-winning performance of his own! In the JV races, Saydi San Miguel was the top finisher for the Lady Wolves, and Juan Rodriguez led the JV Boys. It was a great overall effort from our runners as they continue to gain experience and make progress early in the season. We’re proud of how they competed and represented Dilley! Wolf Pride!

We Back the Pack!!!

Our Dilley Wolves opened the season today at the Floresville Invitational, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way our athletes competed! Josiah Benavides led the way for the boys, earning a medal with a strong performance against a competitive field. Harvest Viesca led our Lady Wolves, setting the tone with a great effort to start the season. We saw a lot of fight, a lot of potential, and most importantly, plenty to build on. This is only the beginning for this group! We Back the Pack!!!

Congratulations to our Lady Wolves Varsity Volleyball Team as they received 3rd Place at the Heart of a Mustang tournament in Natalia Senior Jayceanne Maldonado received the All Tourney Award! Tournament Results are as followed: -(L) vs Jourdanton 11-25 & 15-25 -(W) vs Medina in three Lost first set 19-25, and won second and third set 25-23 & 15-8 -(W) vsFloresville JV 25-23 & 25-21 -(W) vs Natalia 25-16 & 25-16 Spectacular outcome to our Lady Wolves!!! The 2026 Accountability Ratings are in, and our district is making real progress. Dilley ISD improved from a D to a C, Dilley High School improved from a C to a B, and Mary Harper Middle School maintained its B rating.
MHMS also earned three Distinction Designations in Achievement in Science, Top 25% Academic Growth, and Postsecondary Readiness. These accomplishments reflect the hard work of our students, staff, families, and Board of Trustees.
We also want to share that Dilley Elementary School received an F rating. While this rating is concerning, it does not tell the full story of the dedication and effort taking place on that campus. We are taking ownership of these results by carefully reviewing the data, identifying specific areas needing additional support, and continuing the improvements already underway. There is still work ahead, but our progress district-wide shows we are moving in the right direction.

Back on August 7th. DHS Librarian Robert Mitchell was invited to be a featured speaker at Cotulla ISD. His presentation was about our Dilley students, his life story and the library he is the caretaker of. Thank you Cotulla ISD for welcoming our DHS family with open arms!
