Stronger Connections partnered with Mr. Rudziewicz’s Woodshop class and Ms. McLaughlin’s Art class to help bring child abuse awareness to the district. Seniors Jaryn Arrizola and Princess Gonzalez (not pictured) constructed the pinwheels, a symbol of hope, representing the healthy, happy childhood every child deserves, while art students added creative decorations. Staff member Terri Pichardo also contributed by decorating cardboard displays to represent graduating seniors.
Also pictured are DHS students who assisted in decorating and displaying the pinwheels across the campus.
Thank you to everyone who helped spread awareness and support this important cause.

Congratulations to our student, Ivan Carcamo, on making history as the first student to successfully complete his Tanker and Doubles/Triples endorsements for his Class A CDL!
With these endorsements, Ivan is now qualified to operate non-hazardous tanker vehicles, such as those transporting food and water, as well as trucks capable of pulling double and triple trailer combinations.
We are incredibly proud of this outstanding achievement and look forward to celebrating even more successes ahead!
