Dear Dilley ISD Families and Friends,
Our hearts break for Uvalde Consolidated ISD and the children and adults who have lost their lives. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
We will remain and be vigilant as we finish school in the next couple of days. Also, please be reminded that Dilley ISD and the Dilley Police Department have an interlocal agreement where ALL DILLEY ISD Police Officers have immediate badge access to ALL of our buildings and can immediately enter a building and address any matters of emergency concern within seconds. Additionally, our Student Resource Officer is constantly monitoring and visiting all campuses on a rotation schedule. Furthermore, every school building has access control security doors that would stop or significantly slow down a threat allowing police to quickly intervene.
