Dilley Lady Wolves Varsity Falls To Natalia After Seventh Inning Score (4-3)
Dilley Lady Wolves Varsity stayed in it until the end, but Natalia pulled away late in a 4-3 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Natalia batting in the top of the seventh when G Contreras's sac fly scored one run for Natalia. Natalia opened up scoring in the second inning, when Contreras doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. #11 was the winning pitcher for Natalia. She went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out one. Abcde Aranda took the loss for Dilley Lady Wolves Varsity. She surrendered four runs on 14 hits over seven innings, striking out three and walking one. A Woodson started the game for Natalia. She allowed four hits and three runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking one Danielle Herrera went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Dilley Lady Wolves Varsity in hits. Natalia collected 14 hits on the day. B Figueroa, Contreras, T Alvarado, and G Munoz each collected multiple hits for Natalia.
