DHS - We want to welcome everyone out to the Community Wide Block Party! Pep Rally will begin at 6:30pm, following that we will be handing out food and drinks. Thomas Kayl , was sharing his personal experience within the military with the students of Dilley high school the benefits of the military and what they are able to provide to anyone seeking to join the service. He shared what life was like during the training, great moments, and the ins and outs of the military. He shared how the military has positively affected his family, including his 3 daughters, and shaped their lifestyle. Thank you and to all veterans for all you do for our future generation.

District Safety and Security Meeting
Mary Harper Middle School hosted a proclamation ceremony on October 20th. The Honorable Lauro Flores proclaimed Red Ribbon Week to be October 23-31st.
Student Council officers took their drug free pledge. Law Enforcement Agencies in attendance included: Dilley PD, DISD SRO Garcia, Frio Co. Sheriff's Office, Cotulla Border Patrol, DPS, and Dilley Fire Department. Thank you officers and first responders for your dedication and service to our community.
Also, the Honorable Lauro Flores invited Mary Harper Student Council Officers to help him accept a brand new flag from the Woodsman of the World association and raise the flag at his office.
