"Shattered Dreams" Program

Dilley ISD invites you to the "Shattered Dreams" Program on Friday, March 23rd at 9:00 a.m. in the football stadium parking lot. This program is designed to educate students, parents, and the community about the serious issue of underage drinking and driving, by providing a realistic experience and encouraging them to make positive choices.

This event involves a mock car accident in which the DHS students will play as the victims while local law enforcement and other emergency services will act to save their lives. We are attempting to notify the community in advance so everyone will be aware of the event and will not worry that there has actually been an actual accident.

Bleachers will be set up for parents and anyone from the community who plans to attend. Seating and parking is limited.  We are asking people to either park off campus and possibly walk.  Some roads leading into the school will be blocked off to ease access to the first responder vehicles.

If you have any questions, please contact Dilley High School at (830)965-1814.
