Several Dilley High School Band Members performed their solos and ensembles at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest in Eagle Pass on Saturday, Feb. 10.
Ethan Pena and Malaquias Gutierrez, Diego Cordova and Britney Lopez earned First Division Medals for their solos. Diego and Britney advanced to the UIL State Contest.
The Flute Choir, consisting of Angelie Alingod, Amaris Gonzales, Leahla Marquez, Leeloo Marquez, Naara Melendez, Mistica Perez, Gabriela Reyes, and Alexis Rivera also received a First Division and will be advancing to the UIL State Competition.
There are two trumpet trios also advancing, consisting of Norman Moreno, D' Anna Resendiz and Victoria Rodriguez, and Jace Aguilar, Melody DelReal and Ethan Pena.

1. The state competition will is scheduled on Memorial Day this May in Pflugerville, Tx.
2. The Dilley Band Boosters will meet at the High School Band Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 27th, at 5:30 pm.
3. The Dilley HS Band will perform their UIL Concert and Sight reading program at Pleasanton HS, on March 1, beginning at 1:00 pm.
