Building Fundamental Skills Through Tennis
Dilley Independent School District Physical Education teachers were provided with a United States Tennis Association (USTA) Quick Start camp. The purpose of the event was to introduce our local teachers to specific tennis skills and physical activity exercises needed to develop fundamental skills in children. Tennis Pro, Rene Garcia, provided the in-service to the district P.E. faculty and staff. Local instructors in attendance included Coach Jose Acosta, Coach Jay Autrey, Coach George Cabasos, Coach Jorge Cabasos, Mrs. Corley Cox, Coach Kathryn Hawkins, Coach Sandra Rios, and Coach Davis Silva.
